Haircare is VERY important to me. I don’t do a whole lot with my hair but I sure do use products that are going to help me maintain these smooth locks. My mother, who grew up in India, was taught to always moisturize your hair but to not wash it everyday. Since washing can be drying to the hair, it’s important to go a few days between washes. On those days, she would apply coconut oil and let it sit until the next wash. This helps moisturize and nourish the hair while keeping it soft and shiny.

I remember as a child my mom would sit next to me and delicately apply coconut oil all over my hair and tie it up in a braid before my next wash. I’ll be honest, at the time, I absolutely hated it!
