Date night is our JaM

Over the summer, I slowly started to move all of our kids’ toys, books and games from the dining room (aka playroom) to our finished attic so that I can officially convert this little space of ours into a music/zen/relaxation corner (pictured above). It’s now my favorite room in the house and makes for a perfect date-night nook.

On the weekends, we spend our afternoon & evening right here listening to music & drinking wine. I’ll be honest, I’m not musically gifted but my husband loves playing the guitar and piano and it’s a pleasure for me to be a part of it.

My idea of an ideal date night at home includes the following:

1. Wine (duh!) – that’s usually the first thing I open! I’m a #JaMCab lover so I pour myself and my husband a delicious glass of JaM Cabernet by JaM Cellars. It’s very smooth, has ripe berry flavors, easy to drink on its own and under $20. In other words, it’s a #JaMGoodCabernet! Click here to find a JaM Cab near you, or get it delivered to your home. Just look for the bright RED label!

2. Charcuterie Board filled with yummy cheese, meats, fruits and dips – Babe & Butcher in Charlotte does great pre-made cheese and meat plates that’s perfect for a cozy date night in. You can also create your own cheese board. I’m a big fan of On Boards if you’re looking to make a fun cheese board together.

3. Music – I feel like music and #JaMCab pairs perfectly together. We keep an Alexa dot in practically every room of the house. Top Hits on Spotify is my jam! My current favs: Cardigan by Taylor Swift and Wonder by Shawn Mendes.

4. Glam – We prefer to get glammed up by wearing comfortable clothing. Throw on your favorite pair of denim + sweater but the best part is not having to wear any shoes!

I’m soooo craving a glass right now of JaM! It’s almost Wine O’ Clock 🙂

What are you waiting for? Grab a glass of JaM and schedule your next date night “in” with your partner. It doesn’t need to be fancy or extravagant but make it special. Remember, all you really need is #JaMGoodCabernet, food and a little music.
